Event Policies and Agreement
The following policies and agreement of business are to ensure customers contracting with Food From US are aware of the conditions so there are no misunderstandings and that the event runs in a professional manner.
Deposit and Payment
- A deposit of 50% of the estimated cost of the event is required upon signed acceptance of the quotation. Along with the forward payment, menu choices will need to be confirmed. We are also unable to reduce the agreed minimum number of guests as per the agreed menu.
- A guaranteed minimum number of guests must be advised no less than 14 days prior to the event date. This is the minimum number used for billing purposes. We regret we are unable to take reductions in numbers after 14 days. Any increase to the confirmed number of guest must be advised no later than 7 days with any additional charges paid at the conclusion of the event.
- The balance of all events must be paid 14 days prior to your event.
- Acceptable payments are, bank cheque (cheques should be made payable to Food From Us) visa, direct deposit in a nominated bank account or cash.
- All cancellations must be made in writing.
- Deposits are refundable if the event is cancelled within 60 days.
- Cancellation of the event between 60 days-21 days 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellation of the event inside 21 days- the deposit will not be refunded.
- Cancellation of the event inside 7 days – the total cost of the event will not be refunded.
- If you wish to change the date of your event after a deposit has been paid and that date is unavailable and you then wish to cancel your event, the above cancellation policies apply.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Food From Us has a policy to serve guests in a responsible, friendly and professional manner. Our staff is not permitted to serve any person under the age of 18 years, nor any guests displaying obvious signs of intoxication. We appreciate your support in encouraging guests to drink in moderation.
